CHS Quiz Team Splits with Logan

Chillicothe High School opened the 2020-2021 Quiz Bowl season against Logan on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell in the first match, 255-260, but then they earned a dominating win in the second match, 270-175.

Abby Pendell led CHS scoring with 70 points, while Brian Kight had 60 and Chris Henson had 40.

The Chillicothe JV team also split with Logan. Sam Park contributed 55 points to the CHS JV team's score tally.

"The first night of online matches for the league did not go off perfectly," said Quiz Bowl Coach Joshua Queen, "but it did all get complete, and we are in a solid place going forward."
