CHS Quiz Bowl splits with Miami Trace

The Chillicothe High School Quiz Bowl team split with Miami Trace on Monday. The first match went to Chillicothe, 215-180, while Miami Trace won the second, 220-195.

According to CHS Quiz Bowl Advisor Joshua Queen, Abby Pendell scored 80 points, Chris Henson added 70 points, and Ava Guerra earned 30 points for the Cavaliers.

The CHS JV Quiz Bowl team also split with Miami Trace. According to Queen, CHS student Sam Park was the lone player for the JV Cavaliers team.

"He got on a hot streak in the 2nd game and scored 130 points in just that one match, " said Queen. "I was very impressed." CHS will play Hillsboro on January 19.
