Mettler Wins 2020 CMS Spelling Bee

An 8th-grade student won the Chillicothe Middle School Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 28th. According to CMS ELA teacher Mrs. Stephanie Conaway, Lucas Mettler was the overall champion as well as the 8th grade winner.

CMS ELA teacher Miss Rachel Henry said the spelling bee went 18 rounds.

Mettler can now take an online test to qualify for the spring's Regional Spelling Bee in Athens.
