The Guidance Department at Chillicothe High School is working to make sure that all CHS students have a Thanksgiving Day meal.
According to CHS Guidance Counselor Sarah Hawthorne, 35 Thanksgiving Day boxes were distributed to high school students in need.
"The Thanksgiving boxes are put together to help satisfy a meal for Thanksgiving for students and families," said Hawthorne.
She said that the boxes included pre-cooked turkey breasts, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, pumpkin pie, yams, corn, green beans, plastic ware, and paper plates.
The Thanksgiving boxes were funded by the Cavalier Closet, said Hawthorne.
