"Our summer lunch staff did such an amazing job," said Montgomery. "They put all of their heart, hard work, and determination into this summer to make sure our students' needs were met!"
The Summer Lunch Program was open to all students ages 18 and under.
In order to reach the community, a mobile food unit called "Babe the Big Blue Lunch Bus" alternated week-day travel to various locations, including Danberry Cinema, Massieville Park, Millenium Grove, Mighty Children's Museum, Shawnee Lanes, the city pool, and Mt. Logan School.
Lunches were also served at the Chillicothe Primary School cafeteria Monday through Thursdays.
