NHS Raffle to Benefit Toy Giveaway

The Chillicothe High School Chapter of National Honor Society has put together a raffle to help support local children in need with presents and make their Christmas a little bit better.

NHS Adviser Dawn Carter said that the NHS members donated the gift baskets for the raffle.

"With the money, we are going to Zion Community Christmas Giveaway, and we are providing toys for children ages 3 through 10," said Carter. "Every single dollar that we make will be for that."

Tickets are available for $1 a piece and can be entered into the raffle for the gift basket of choice.

For example, there is a basket geared toward coffee, another toward Ohio State, and even a Chillicothe High School t-shirt blanket.

Carter said the drawing will be held on December 8th.

Raffle prizes are on display in the window near Ms. Carter's classroom.
