Local Election Day Results

The polls for the 2018 midterm elections are closed and results are in. They are as follows:

Locally, Ross County Prosecutor Matthew Schmidt was elected to become judge for the Court of Common Pleas.

State Senator Bob Peterson and State Representative Gary Scherer were re-elected to serve for another term.

The Ross County Park District Levy failed.

Statewide, current Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine was voted Governor and State Issue 1, involving the alteration of criminal charges dealing with possession of certain illegal narcotic substances to the Ohio Constitution, failed.
