Recap of CHS Girls' Tennis

The Chillicothe Girls' Tennis team fought hard but fell to Teays Valley, 2 sets to 3, on Monday.

According to CHS Coach Janet Disbennett, the complete results were as follows:

• 1st Singles: Lacey Urban (Teays Valley) defeated Natalie Drotleff (Chillicothe) 6-1, 6-3.

• 2nd Singles: Abbey Sims-Clark (Chillicothe) defeated Lexy Urban (Teays Valley) 6-2, 6-1.

• 3rd Singles: Ali Gossman (Chillicothe) defeated Kassidy Coey (Teays Valley) 6-4, 7-5.

• 1st Doubles: Brenna Allay/Brook Crosby (Teays Valley) defeated Hannah Kessler/Heidi Arth (Chillicothe) 6-0, 6-2.

• 2nd Doubles: Mallory Spangler/Sarah Vaughn (Teays Valley) defeated Abby Pendell/Maddie Schafer (Chillicothe) 6-0, 6-3.

The Lady Cavaliers currently hold a record of (2-1 league, 3-3 overall).
