Paints Win the Last Game of Homestand

The Paints hosted and beat the Champion City Kings in the last game of a 3-game homestand, Sunday. Champion City put 3 quick runs on the board in the first inning, but the Paints returned the favor, scoring 5 in the 2nd inning. The Kings continued to score 1 run in the 5th, 6th and 7th innings. The Paints again came back and scored 2 runs in the 8th. The 9th inning was blank for both the Paints and Kings.
The Cavs News Highlighted Player is pitcher Michael Jacob. Jacob pitched 5 innings, striking out 8, walking 1 and gave up 1 hit. The Paints now travel to Butler, Pennsilvania to play the Blue Sox.
