Chillicothe Drops First Away Game of the Season

The Paints traveled to Butler, Pennsylvania, to take on the Blue Sox for the first away game of the season, Monday.

The Blue Sox came out quick scoring 1 run in the first. The Paints came back after scoring 1 run in the 3rd and 4th. Chillicothe held the lead for 4 innings until Butler scored 4 in the 8th inning.

The Cavs News Highlighted Player is the starting pitcher Chris Modrzynski. Modrzynski pitched a total of 7.1 innings and only gave up 1 run in the first 7 innings pitched. He also struck out 5 batters and only walked 1.

The Paints will stay in Butler for another game on Tuesday.
