CHS Holds NAHS Inductions
The National Art Honors Society welcomed 30 new artists to become members of its elite club this week. On Wednesday, May 10th, the annual NAHS Induction Luncheon was held in the CHS/CMS library.
"Criteria to be inducted includes artistic ability and volunteer hours," said Lori Dana, CHS art teacher. "Each member is required to volunteer at least 25 hours per school year."
According to Dana, NAHS completes service projects throughout the year, such as painting murals, windows, and trash cans, as well as decorating the Christmas Tree Gala and CHS After Prom.
"It has been a very busy and successful year, with several members earning awards at various local and state competitions," said Dana. "I wish all the seniors best of luck and I am looking forward to the returning members next year."
