Keys to Success Year End Assembly

The assembly many students in Chillicothe High School's anti-drug/alcohol program look forward to each year is quickly approaching. On Thursday, Keys to Success members will gather in the Hatton gym where organizers will be giving out 59 prizes, amounting to $5,000.

Prizes include: iPads, Apple laptops, Apple airpods, portable speakers, BP gas cards, Yeti tumblers, and a brand new bike.

The largest prize is given out to a junior or senior: a brand new Kia Forte, donated in part by K2S founder Gary Von Kennel and Herrnstein Chillicothe Auto Group.

To be eligible for a prize, students must have passed each of their drug tests, have no major disciplinary infractions, maintain a certain gpa, and have decent school attendance.

"Even if a student goes home empty-handed from the K2S assembly, they are still a winner because they remained drug- and alcohol-free for the year," said K2S Ambassador Jasmine Roper. "Hopefully, that sets the bar for their entire life."
