Last Saturday, the Cavs baseball team took on Circleville in a long double header. The JV team started off strong in their first game, but the Tigers took the win away 16-6. The second game was a different story, as the Cavs came back fighting and held the Tigers to one run in a 7-1 win, being the first win for the program.

Later in the day, the varsity took on the Tigers at V.A. Memorial Stadium. The Cavs came out slow in the first game and lost 11-1, but came for the second game ready as ever. The Cavs overpowered the Tigers in hitting for a 20-6 win.

The Cavs were scheduled to play Miami Trace as the FAC opener on Wednesday,

but the match-up was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will now be played on Thursday.
