Local Waste Site Shutdown

The City of Chillicothe has sent out a notice about a local waste site.

City officials stated via social media that Safety Director Jeff Carman issued the shutdown of the Renick Avenue Waste Site effective immediately to allow for the removal of debris.

City administration indicated they are currently looking into effective ways to remove the debris and avoid further misuse, and that t

he city will send out crews to pick up yard waste until the yard is opened.
