CHS Softball Fundraiser

The Chillicothe High School softball team hosted its first fundraiser, last Saturday. The Daddy-Daughter Dance was for all students grades pre-K through 6th.

The cost to attend was $15 per couple, no matter how many girls were accompanied by the father.

Organizers said there were approximately 150 sign-ups prior to the dance, and about 350-400 people attended this event.

"It was truly a great feeling seeing all the little girls dressed up and creating lifetime memories with their dads," said Shelby Dunham.

Organizers said due to the popularity of this event, there is already talk of the possibility of a mother-son dance. More information along with possible dates will be sent out soon.
