Bainbridge Men Arrested in Traffic Stop
Two men face felony charges after a traffic stop in Waverly, Monday February 5th. According to the Waverly Police Department, the vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation on Emmitt Avenue at 7:14 p.m.
Police said the Ross County Sheriff's Department had issued warrants for the two male passengers.
One of the men, Todd R. Routte Jr., 25, of Bainbridge, was charged with aggravated possession of drugs, carrying a concealed weapon, weapons under disability, trafficking drugs, and having weapons while intoxicated, authorities said. Routte was also reportedly charged with possession of a defaced firearm.
The second male, identified as Matthew T. Jordan, 25, of Bainbridge, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and weapons under disability.
Both were taken to jail.
Authorities confirmed cases on Jordan and Routte will be presented during the next session of the Pike County Grand Jury.
