Fatal Crash

Last Wednesday, snowfall resulted in a fatality in Ross County.

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials confirmed Anna M. Fitch, 24, of Chillicothe, was driving west on Possum Hollow Road, just south of Charleston Pike, when she lost control of her vehicle. Officials said she then went left of center crossing paths with a dump truck being driven by Paul E. Rinehart, 59, of Frankfort.

Fitch was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead, authorities said. Rinehart was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
