NHS Blood Drive

On Friday, January 19th, Chillicothe High School's National Honor Society held its annual blood drive in the Cox Gym. Organizers said around 50-55 students partook in this event: myself included.

This was my first time donating, and it was an amazing first experience. NHS members did great job at comforting everyone with their many "social butterflies."

According to the Red Cross, each pint of blood helps save 3-6 lives. Health officials say this is especially important due to the fact that there is a current blood shortage in the State of Ohio.

The next CHS blood drive will be held in April. I highly recommend signing up. If the good deed of saving lives isn't enough, there was a great supply of snacks available to you. Hope to see you all in April!
