Chilli Choirs Cookie Walk

CHS choir members are starting to get ready for one of their biggest fundraisers of the year: the cookie walk.

The students get to pick a theme that has something to do with the holidays, pick anyone in Chilli choirs to be in their group, and each student in a group has to make 2-4 dozen bagged treats to sell. Each bag has to filled to what they think is worth $1.

The students can't have more than 6 students in a group. Each student has to provide decorations for the table. The items on the table has to be 60% cookies/treats and 40% decorations. Students are allowed to dress up in costumes but they have to be school appropriate.

The cookie walk will be held on December 11th and the concert will go on right after the cookie walk. The cookie walk will still be going on during the concert but will end at the same time.

The students love the cookie walk because they can win prizes and they love dressing up with their friends. I am a senior in high school, and I have been in the cookie walk as long as I have been in choir, which has been all 4 years. It's a cool way to get close to the new kids in choir and to get along with the people you never thought you would get close to.

Students can come up with ANY theme as long as it ties back to the holidays. Three groups can win there selection of gift cards. 1st prize wins best cookie/treat. 2nd is best table decorations. 3rd is best over all group. There are judges assigned.

Come support the CHS choir program, buy some treats, and watch a great show! Cookie walk starts at 5 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. on December 11th at the CHS/CMS auditorium and cafeteria areas.
