Cavalites Go on Children's Tour
On October 4th and 5th, the Chillicothe Cavalites headed out on their annual Children’s Tour. The Cavalites have held the tradition of dedicating an entire show to the children in the Chillicothe City School District. In addition to visiting the elementaries, the Cavalites visit the Pioneer Center and perform for the students attending there, as well. The Cavalites performed a Moana medley, "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride," and "Candle on the Water," this year.
“The biggest reaction from the students came from the Moana medley; the kids loved it," said Cavalite member Carly Wood.
When asked which school was their favorite to perform, almost every member revealed that their favorite school to perform wasn’t their homeschool, it was the Pioneer Center.
“It just brings a smile to my face to know we can provide entertainment for those kids. They’re all so sweet, and I feel like they aren’t included in enough activities or tours,” said a member of the Cavalites.
Although future tours will only be one day, considering that the elementaries will be moving to one building, the Chillicothe Cavalites said they will continue to inspire and entertain today’s youth with many tours to come.
