Police Arrest Man for Obstructing

Police were called to the area of East Main and North Bridge streets in response to a suspect causing property damage on Sunday, September 17th. According police reports from the Chillicothe Police Department, the suspect allegedly punched a window out of a vehicle and also a window at the Tabernacle Church.

Once the police arrived at the scene, a man with his arms and hands covered in blood was seen walking near by, according to the report.

Authorities said the man was identified as Roger Cadwallader, but, when asked about the incident, Cadwallader continued to walk off through the Wendy’s parking lot.

According to the report, things got physical when Cadwallader took a fighting stance as an officer attempted to grab him. He was taken into custody and transported to the Ross County Jail for obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
